On Wednesday, The View shared a new promotional video on Instagram to give viewers a first peak at what’s to come.
“This Tuesday, The View’s on the move! And, get this, moving into a fabulous new home and studio, too!” the clip said.

The clip then showed the hosts backstage, including Whoopi Goldberg, who was getting her makeup done.
“Y’all know we’re moving, right?” Whoopi, 68, told the camera.

Other hosts Joy Behar, 81, Sara Haines, 46, Ana Navarro, 52, Alyssa Farah Griffin, 35, and Sunny Hostin, 55, chimed in while walking around the set with moving boxes.
“New home, same hot topics,” they said.

As each host was featured, a glimpse of the new studio in downtown New York City could be seen behind them.
The set featured a backdrop of the city, gold pillars, brown velvet chairs, clay vases, and plenty of greenery.

“An all-new season of The View, from our new home,” the narrator added, while promising fans the “topics would be hot” and viewers would be in for a few surprises.
Fans expressed excitement over the new season in the comments, with one writing, “I’m here for it, Ladies! Make some noise!”

“Yippee!! Can’t wait for my ladies to return!! I miss you all!” a second wrote.
“Honestly this is my superbowl,” a third joked.

NEW STUDIO, WHO DIS?
On Wednesday, an insider close to The View’s production exclusively told The U.S. Sun that the new studio cost roughly $10 million.
The high price point of the new downtown Manhattan studio reportedly has network staffers “furious” to hear about the major expenditure.
“They’re in the process of moving all the rest of the cast and crew’s personal items from the old ABC studios uptown to their new studios downtown,” the source said.
“People are furious about the move. Another 150 people got fired at the start of this month meanwhile The View is spending $10 million on a brand-new set.”
The insider said that everything on the set is completely new.
“They aren’t telling everyone it’s a brand-new set, because they don’t want to upset everyone getting let go,” they added.
“But they are not bubble-wrapping things to bring over, this is all new. New View table, new chairs, brand new background, all designed from scratch.

BATHROOM DRAMA
Earlier this month, The U.S. Sun exclusively reported that Whoopi wasn’t too pleased about her dressing room in the new studio.
The talk show veteran, who has hosted the show for 17 years, was reportedly angry that her room lacked a bathroom.
“It’s so small, and she doesn’t have her own bathroom,” the source said.

“Whoopi had the biggest dressing room with an ensuite including a shower and full bathroom,” a second source added of her previous room.
The first insider said Whoopi plans to use the room at her production studios, which she will be moving downtown.
“She’s moving her production office, which is currently near the ABC uptown studios, right next door to the new ABC studios downtown,” they said.
“Whoopi is that determined to use her own dressing room at her production studios, rather than use the paltry ABC accommodations.”
While Joy is the only host with a bathroom, Whoopi’s new dressing room is the largest.
