Compared to her clandestine relationship with British actor Joe Alwyn, during which the couple barely spoke about each other and tried to hide while on dates, Taylor is loud and proud about her romance with Travis, and said she was instantly attracted to the NFL star because he jokingly called her out on his podcast.
Back in July, Travis revealed his disappointment at not being able to meet Taylor at her Eras Tour gig in Kansas City, and during an episode of his podcast New Heights, he lamented: “She doesn’t meet anybody, or at least she didn’t want to meet me, so I took it personal.”

However, Taylor was impressed with his ingenuity at getting her attention, and got in touch with him. “This all started when Travis very adorably put me on blast on his podcast, which I thought was metal as hell,” she explained. “We started hanging out right after that. So we actually had a significant amount of time that no one knew, which I’m grateful for, because we got to get to know each other.”The Grammy-winning artist revealed the key to a successful relationship was “showing up for each other”, and sweetly admitted she was “proud” of her sportsman beau.

And we’re just proud of each other.”
She later joked: “Football is awesome, it turns out. I’ve been missing out my whole life.”
