Megan Thee Stallion Wants Cardi B to Feature on Her New Album

Megan Thee Stallion is ready to team up with Cardi B again. During a recent TikTok Live session, the Houston rapper revealed that she wants Cardi B to appear on her upcoming project, MEGAN: Act III. “Cardi owe me… like two verses!” she told fans with a laugh. “So I’m definitely gonna cash in on my Cardi verses.”

The comment quickly set social media on fire, sparking speculation that the two Grammy-winning rappers are planning a new collaboration — their third to date.

Megan Thee Stallion and Cardi B first joined forces in 2020 for “WAP,” a cultural reset of a single that shattered records and dominated the charts. The track debuted at No. 1 on the Billboard Hot 100, making history as the first all-female rap collaboration to debut atop the chart. It also achieved the biggest U.S. streaming week ever for a song at the time, spending four non-consecutive weeks at No. 1. “WAP” gave Cardi B her fourth No. 1 hit and Megan her second. Three years later, they reunited for “Bongos,” a vibrant, tropical-inspired track released in September 2023. The song didn’t replicate the commercial dominance of “WAP,” peaking at No. 14 on the Billboard Hot 100, and earning a nomination for Best Video at the MTV Europe Music Awards.

The mention of Cardi comes at a pivotal moment in Megan’s career. The rapper recently topped the U.S. iTunes chart with her new single “Lover Girl,” becoming one of only two female rappers — alongside Cardi B — to reach No. 1 on the platform with a solo rap song in 2025. “Lover Girl,” released October 24, is a sultry, R&B-infused single built around a sample of Total’s 1996 hit “Kissin’ You.” Following “Whenever” earlier this year, “Lover Girl” serves as the second preview of MEGAN: Act III, the final installment in her conceptual album trilogy.
