Eminem, whose real name is Marshall Bruce Mathers III, born October 17, 1972, is an American rapper, record producer, and actor. He is considered one of the most influential artists in the history of hip-hop, known for his sharp lyrical abilities and unique performance style. During his career, Eminem has released a total of 10 studio albums, selling over 220 million copies worldwide, making him one of the best-selling artists of all time. ​

Eminem has won 15 Grammy Awards, 8 American Music Awards, and 17 Billboard Music Awards. Notably, he was the first hip-hop artist to win an Academy Award for Best Original Song for his song “Lose Yourself” from the 2002 film “8 Mile”. ​

In addition to his solo career, Eminem is a member of the group D12 and, along with Royce da 5’9″, forms the hip-hop duo Bad Meets Evil. He is also known for his mentorship and career support for other artists such as 50 Cent, Yelawolf and Stat Quo. ​
