Eminem continues to dominate the UK rap scene in 2024, claiming both the top-selling rap albums of the year so far.
His latest release, “The Death of Slim Shady (Coup De Grâce)”, has sold over 150,000 units since its debut on July 12, more than any other rap album released this year.
Still, it is only the second result among hip hop records. However, Slim Shady is not competing with anyone else — he is competing with himself. His 2005 classic “Curtain Call: The Hits” continues to sell phenomenally, making it the best-selling rap album in the UK for 2024 so far. In fact, “Curtain Call” also topped rap sales in 2023 and was ranked the No.7 best-selling album across all genres.
