The Kamikaze singer, once again decided to spark an outrage among the listeners as he name-dropped Megan Thee Stallion in his new song Houdini. Slim Shady referred to the incident when rapper, Tory Lanez shot the Wanna Be rapper in the feet. While some people are impressed, others are furious at the rapper for being so disrespectful to her.VT

However, it looks like the Without Me rapper has created another rap beef as he decides to mention Megan Thee Stallion in his new single, Houdini. During the first 54 seconds,  the casually mentioned the shooting incident of the She-Hulk actress.VT

This resulted in a massive backlash from the fans of the Not My Fault singer as they felt it was not only harsh but also immensely disrespectful on his part. As Pop Base (@PopBase) shared this on X, fans instantly lashed out at the artist for having unnecessary and unprovoked actions.VT

However, this is Eminem that we are talking about, and he is notorious for his battles, unfiltered commentary on celebrities and sometimes casually name-dropping other artists in his songs like how he mentioned Billie Eilish in his Alfred’s Theme.VT

A Look into Megan Thee Stallion’s Shooting Incident

According to reports from BBC, Megan Thee Stallion claimed that fellow rapper Tory Lanez had shot her in the feet on 12 July 2020, during a pool party at Kylie Jenner’s house. During her testimony under oath, she mentioned that Lanez and she got into an argument as they drove away from the event.VT

She mentioned how she demanded to be out of the car and heard Lanez screaming at her to dance, the situation escalated, leading him to open fire with a handgun. The news outlet also mentioned how she left a trail of blood at the scene and a friend messaged her security saying, “Help…Tory shot Meg.”VT

The rapper also told the judge how the Traphouse rapper offered her $1 million to keep quiet and later he called her to apologize, claiming he was “just too drunk.” Following her statement, Lanezz was convicted in December with three charges, that is assault with a semiautomatic firearm, having a loaded, unregistered firearm in a vehicle, and discharging a firearm with gross negligence.

Prosecutors wanted a 13-year prison sentence, but Lanez’s team asked for probation and drug and alcohol treatment instead. In a statement shared by Megan Thee Stallion, she gave a statement about how her life has changed after the incident and she will “never be the same” after the vicious attack. She said,

Since I was viciously shot by the defendant, I have not experienced a single day of peace. Slowly but surely, I’m healing and coming back, but I will never be the same.vt

Nevertheless, the BOA singer has not shared any statements following the name drop in Houdini. Hence, fans would be looking forward to seeing how Stallion responds to Slim Shady
