Chiefs Coach Joins Tomlin in Banning ‘Black National Anthem’: ‘Only One Flag, One Anthem!’
In a bold and controversial move, Kansas City Chiefs head coach Andy Reid has reportedly joined Pittsburgh Steelers head coach Mike Tomlin in opposing the inclusion of the “Black National Anthem,” Lift Every Voice and Sing, during NFL games. Reid expressed his belief in maintaining a singular anthem to unite fans and players under one national identity.
“There’s one flag and one anthem,” Reid stated firmly in a recent interview. “While I respect the sentiment behind Lift Every Voice and Sing, the focus should remain on celebrating what unites us as Americans, not highlighting divisions.”
