Travis Kelce and the Kansas City Chiefs had Wild Card Weekend off after securing the AFC’s No. 1 seed and a bye in the NFL playoffs. Now, they will be facing the Houston Texans in the Divisional Round.
On Dec. 21, the Chiefs battled the Texans in the regular season, a game that Kelce’s girlfriend, Taylor Swift, was in attendance for. This marked the seventh and final game the “Bad Blood” singer attended in the 2024 season, with Kansas City going a perfect 7-0 in those contests.
However, the Chiefs hosted eight contests during the regular season. Swift was forced to miss the Dec. 8 match against the Los Angeles Chargers due to her final show of “The Eras Tour” in Vancouver, Canada.
Swift’s tour lasted from early 2023 to December 2024, spanning almost two years. She also traveled to five different continents, including North and South America, Europe, Asia and Australia.
“The Eras Tour” also broke numerous records; most notably, it became the highest-grossing tour ever, beating out Elton John’s “Farewell Yellow Brick Road tour.” Swift’s tour also became the first ever to gross $1 billion.
While “The Eras Tour” was still going on, Swift notably gave many different crew members sizable bonuses reaching $100,000. On Sunday, one member of her staff shared a photo of a hand-written note from Swift, which included the valuable gift. However, it appears the note was written during the tour’s first year in 2023.
“Robert, thank you for your superb work on the U.S. leg of The Eras Tour,” Swift wrote. “Your well deserved bonus is $100,000. Love, Taylor.”
Fans loved Swift’s gesture toward her staff, taking to social media to leave their thoughts.
“Imagine getting a handwritten note and a life-changing bonus? Taylor really is the CEO of Kindness,” one fan said.
“and THIS is why i love her as a person she truly deserves the fame and recognition she gets,” added a second.
“that’s actually so amazing cause 100k would lowkey change my life i love you taylor,” wrote a third.
“She’s so kind and giving,” posted a fourth.

With the Chiefs playing in Kansas City in their first playoff game and Swift’s tour now over, one can expect the Grammy-winning artist to make her first 2025 appearance at GEHA Field at Arrowhead Stadium next weekend.
