“I don’t get any respect either,” Behar said dramatically on Thursday’s episode of The View, tossing her cue cards into the air. “If America won’t appreciate us, then maybe it’s time we go where we’re truly understood. Like France. Or Canada. Or maybe even Mars.”
Behar’s declaration came just days after Goldberg expressed similar frustration during a panel discussion on American politics, and Rapinoe criticized the current state of women’s rights and civil discourse in a fiery speech at a sports leadership summit.
The trio has reportedly formed a “mutual support group” to help cope with what they describe as “massive national underappreciation.”
“Do you know how hard it is being outspoken and fabulous at the same time?” Rapinoe posted on X (formerly Twitter). “Apparently, it’s a crime now.”
Goldberg, when asked where they would go, responded, “We’re exploring options. As long as there’s wine, Wi-Fi, and no Fox News, we’ll be fine.”
Critics, predictably, had mixed reactions.
“Can we help them pack?” one user commented online.
Meanwhile, fans rallied in support. “Say what you want, but these women stood up for what they believed in. Bon voyage, queens,” wrote another.
Behar hinted that the trio’s journey would be documented in a new reality series titled Expat Icons: Three Women, One Bold Exit. Rumors suggest streaming platforms are already bidding for the rights.
As of press time, no official departure date has been confirmed, but sources say the trio has been spotted at a passport renewal office in Manhattan, laughing over mimosas.
