In a recent interview on VLAD TV, Benzino opened up about a significant personal moment concerning his long-standing feud with Eminem, a rivalry that has spanned over two decades. Despite having never met Eminem in person, Benzino extended a public congratulation to him on becoming a grandfather, showcasing a moment of maturity and reflection. He acknowledged the deep, albeit indirect, connection forged through their storied history of conflict.

Benzino shared his perspective on the nature of their rivalry, emphasizing his personal growth and the shedding of past resentment. He remarked on the irony of both he and Eminem becoming grandfathers simultaneously, noting it as a divine coincidence rather than a mere chance. Zino expressed a desire for reconciliation, highlighting the importance of setting a positive example and moving past old grudges, especially as both are entering new phases of their lives.
“Me and Eminem has never physically met each other. I’ve never had a strong connection with somebody I’ve never met. It’s a different feeling because I’ve met thousands of people in my life and this one man has so much of an impact on my life and not meeting him, not knowing him, it’s just a different lane that I don’t know if anybody’s ever experienced.” said Benzino.
Then he continued: “I know I could be in the room with him and just laugh and smoke and do whatever. A lot of my demons are gone. That anger is gone. I’ve managed to grow older and I’ve managed to kind of suppress it. Worked on it. So, I’m not perfect. I’m the man who forgets a lot of negative. I can really put it on the shelf. One day, it will be a great moment for us to meet.”
“It’s just ironic that both of our daughters are pregnant right now. If him being a grandfather has not softened him up and if Coi having her baby has not softened me up then we are not human. We gotta be able to move forward. Millions of people have emotional ties to me and his relationship, it would be good if we shake hands and say ‘bro, it’s love’. At this point, I would.” Benzino added.
