Taylor Swift’s relationship with Kansas City Chiefs star Travis Kelce is widely recognized as one of the highest-profile unions in recent memory. The couple took it even further after they revealed their engagement in August — an announcement that broke all sorts of social media records.
Pop star Miley Cyrus has already reached out to the couple to send them her congratulations. Cyrus, who is a long-time friend of Swift, also revealed her opinion of the couple in a recent interview with Mirror.
The 32-year-old multi-Grammy Award-winning artist had nothing but nice things to say about Swift and Kelce.
“I have sent my congratulations,” Cyrus told Mirror. “Anybody who has been around them can see how in love they are – and they make the absolute cutest couple.”
Cyrus’ relationship with Swift dates back to their teenage years, with both pop stars starting out their respective careers at an early age. While they may not be the best of friends, the two appear to have maintained a lasting relationship through the years.
Notably, Swift was seen showing her support for Cyrus during the latter’s performance at the 2024 Grammys. The “Eras Tour” headliner was seen raising her glass and nodding along with a big grin on her face as Cyrus took the stage to perform her massive hit “Flowers.”
It is unclear if Cyrus has gotten to know Kelce during the past couple of years that the Chiefs tight end has been dating Swift, but Cyrus has made it very clear that she has nothing but love for the couple.
As for his day job, Kelce will be in action with the Chiefs on Sunday against the defending champs, the Philadelphia Eagles. It will be Kansas City’s first home game of the season, and Swift is expected to attend the matchup at Arrowhead Stadium.
