At eight in the morning, Emily Carter was cleaning the glass coffee table in the living room when she saw five luxury cars approaching the door.
After four months working at Harristop’s factory, he immediately felt that that day would be different.
Above, Michael Harris pointed the widow towards her eight-year-old son, Noah.
Well, the five women we talked about have already arrived. They will stay with us for thirty days.
Noah watched the elegant women come out of the cars.
“And at that moment I have to choose who will be my new mom, right, Dad?”
—That’s right. Soп geпte cυlta y de familias iпflυyeпtes. Segυro qυe te caeráп bien .
“What if I don’t like any of them?”
You will. He can give you an excellent education and take you all over the world.
Suddenly, the sound of breaking glass echoed throughout the house, followed by an angry voice.
Useless servant! You broke my expensive glass!
Michael and Noah exchanged surprised glances.
“What was that?” Noah asked.
—I’m not sure. Let’s check it out.
They went downstairs and found Emily lying on the floor, picking up broken glass; her finger was bleeding. A tall brunette was beside her, with her arms crossed.
That glass was imported. It cost more than I earned in a year.
“It was an accident,” Emily whispered, looking down.
“An accident?” the woman mocked. “People like you shouldn’t touch valuable objects.”
—Excuse me— Michael said firmly. —What’s wrong?
The brunette turned around with a forced smile. “Michael, I’m Vanessa Montgomery. I just arrived and your maid broke my glass.”
The other four women approached and watched Emily from the ground.
“Well, this is uncomfortable,” said the blonde.
“I’m Olivia Prescott,” she added coldly.
“Accidents happen,” Michael replied, trying to calm the situation.
“Class people know more,” Olivia said, looking at Emily.
Noah walked past his father and rapped towards Emily.
“Umm… are you hurt?”
Emily looked up, forcing a smile.
—It’s nothing, darling. Just a scratch.
Vaessa narrowed her eyes. “What a strange closeness!”
Michael intervened: “Since everyone is here, let’s clear this up. This is Emily, our employee. And you are the candidates.”
The women presented themselves with pride: Vaпessa, from a large family in New York; Olivia, model and iпflυeпcer qυe had lived in Paris; Katheriпe Reyolds, corporate counsel; the Dra. Melissa Graett, dermatologist coп private coпsυltory; and Laυra Beptett, architect.
During the entire extraction process, they treated Emily as if she didn’t exist.
“She’ll stay here for 30 days,” Michael explained. “And on the wedding day, Noah will decide who he wants to marry me to.”
“And the maid?” Vaessa asked.
“She’s staying,” Michael replied. “Emily has been working here for months.”
Olivia exchanged a look with Katherine. “We just hope you understand their position.”
Noah grabbed Emily’s hand. “Em, go see the drawing I made.”
“First she has to clean up her mess,” Melissa said.
“Okay,” Emily said softly. “I’ll go later.”
Vaessa watched attentively. “Interested.”
That day, the five women met in the courtyard and exchanged gifts: tablets, luxury trips, elite schools, room renovations.
Noah appeared courteously, thanking them with enthusiasm.
Emily arrived with juice and cigar cookies. Noah’s face lit up.
Did you do this?
I did it. And I brought origami paper.
The women watched him in silence; their joy was undeniable.
Maybe it will be found.
—This situation with the maid is acceptable—Vaessa whispered.
“He’s too attached,” Laura agreed.
“It’s not appropriate,” Katheri said.
“You have to learn hierarchy,” Melissa added.
“And he needs a lesson,” Vaessa concluded.
Meanwhile, Michael couldn’t ignore the change in his dream. Noah started laughing again, eating again, and living again.
Later, Noah showed him an origami bird.
“He’s patient,” she said. “He’s always yelling.”
“Do you like girls?” Michael asked.
“They’re cute… but Emily is better.”
¿Porqυe?
It’s real.
“Are you going to fire her?” Noah asked anxiously.
“No,” Michael promised. “She’s staying.”
The harassment began days later: local disasters, hidden supplies, blaming Emily. Michael installed hidden cameras.
What he saw enraged him.
When Noah defended her, Vanessa threatened him.
“If you continue to choose her, you will have to decide.”
“I already did,” Noah replied. “I choose Emily.”
Michael opened false accusations and simulated investigations ordered by Vaessa.
At the final party, believing he had married, the women boasted, aware that he was being recorded.
Michael played everything publicly.
The truth shattered them.
“These women tried to destroy a pineapple because my son loved her,” Michael said.
“I wanted Emily to be my mom,” Noah said softly.
Michael proposed to Emily in front of everyone.
She said yes through tears.
The women fled towards misfortune.
Months later, Michael and Emily got married in a simple ceremony. Noah called her “Mom”.
Later he gave birth to his daughter.
Emily looked back and said softly, “All the difficulties brought me here.”
And together they demonstrated that love is not defined by status, but by goodness, truth, and courage.
