Taylor Swift has made it clear that she won’t be taking the stage for the Super Bowl halftime show.
Despite years of speculation and fan anticipation, Swift remains committed to supporting Kelce from the sidelines rather than performing at the league’s biggest event.
Swift’s Priority: Supporting Kelce Over Performing
Swift, who has been dating Kelce for nearly two years, attended this year’s Super Bowl, where she watched Kendrick Lamar deliver the halftime performance.
However, despite ongoing rumors, she has no intention of accepting the halftime gig while Kelce is still actively competing. She doesn’t want to take the attention away, she wants it to be about her man.
“Taylor wants to be there cheering on Travis, not performing,” a source told the Daily Mail.
The insider also emphasized that as long as Kelce is playing, there’s always a chance that the Chiefs could make it to the Super Bowl again—and Swift doesn’t want to overshadow that moment.

While Swift has long been a top choice for the Super Bowl halftime show, an earlier brand conflict made it impossible for her to accept the opportunity.
For years, Pepsi sponsored the halftime show, but Swift’s endorsement deal with Coca-Cola prevented her from performing under a competing brand. However, since Apple Music has now taken over sponsorship, that obstacle has been removed.

Although Kelce is leaning toward continuing, a final decision is expected before the next season.
If Kelce does retire soon, Swift could potentially headline Super Bowl LX in Santa Clara, California, in 2025. However, if he decides to play a few more seasons, she may have to wait until 2027 in Inglewood or 2028 in Atlanta for her chance.
