But now, shocking news has broken out: Drake officially opened up about collaborating with Chris Brown, and he did not hesitate to mention the sensitive “name” – Rihanna.

In a recent interview, Drake surprisingly shared:
“Time changes everything. Chris and I used to be on opposite sides of the battle line, but now, we let music guide us.”
No one can forget the famous fight between Drake and Chris Brown at a club in New York in 2012 – where the reason was rumored to be Rihanna. It was thought that the relationship between these two artists would never be mended, but in 2019, the shocking collaboration in the song “No Guidance” stunned the entire music industry.
But only now, Drake has truly opened up about that decision.

Drake frankly admitted that letting go of the past is not easy. He said:
“I don’t deny the hurt, but I also don’t want to let the past imprison the present. We are artists, and art needs forgiveness.”
Not only stopping at personal reconciliation, Drake also said that the collaboration with Chris Brown is “a declaration” about how artists can overcome hatred, drama and public scrutiny to create something bigger – music.
