Taylor Swift is reportedly planning to take a year off after she wraps up The Eras Tour, according to Us Weekly. The pop sensation has been touring since March 2023 and is set to conclude her epic trek in Vancouver, Canada, on December 8.
Sources close to Swift reveal that she is taking an extended break to relax and spend quality time with her boyfriend, Travis Kelce. “She’s told her team to give her one year,” an insider shared with Us Weekly.
Another source added that Taylor plans to “hibernate” for a while, doing “normal things” with Travis as a couple. “Taylor’s exhausted. She’s excited for some relaxation and downtime,” they said.
The first source also mentioned that Swift is looking forward to a quiet Christmas with her family and has no plans to think about recording new music until 2025.
An insider revealed that while Taylor Swift does plan to tour again in the future, it won’t be for a while, and it will likely be on a smaller scale compared to The Eras Tour.
By the time the tour concludes in Vancouver, Taylor will have performed 149 shows across five continents. Before Thanksgiving, she held six dates in Toronto, and she admitted that as the tour nears its end, emotions have run high.
In an Instagram post, Taylor reflected on her Toronto shows, writing: “Our 6 shows in Toronto were so incredible. It was awesome to play in Canada after so much time. As always, the fans in Toronto treated us like it was a hometown show.” She added, “Couldn’t have asked for more love or generosity from the people who came out…”
As the final shows approach, she continued: “The emotions have gotten pretty heightened for me and the rest of the team because it’s gotten extremely real for us: Our next city will be the last one of The Eras Tour, and the closing of the most extraordinary chapter of my life so far.”
The pop superstar has been on the road since March 2023 and will wrap up the tour on December 8 in Vancouver. According to reports, after the tour ends, Taylor plans to take an extended break to relax and spend time with her boyfriend, Travis Kelce.
In her final message to fans ahead of the Vancouver shows, she wrote: “See you, Vancouver. We can’t wait to give you all we’ve got for three more shows.”
Taylor and Travis’ relationship became official on September 24, 2023, when Taylor attended her first Chiefs game, where Travis’ team played the Chicago Bears. While it’s unclear exactly when they began seeing each other, Travis had shared on the July 26 episode of his New Heights podcast that he had hoped to introduce himself to Taylor at one of her Eras Tour stops. He attended the second night of her Kansas City concert on July 8 from a suite and was disappointed not to meet her. He joked, “I was a little butt-hurt I didn’t get to hand her one of the bracelets I made for her,” as Taylor doesn’t typically meet with people before or after her shows to save her voice for the performance.
By mid-October 2023, their romance had grown stronger, with the couple sharing loved-up photos on Instagram. Taylor and Travis’ relationship continues to blossom, with both stars enjoying their time together as their connection deepens.

“You don’t want conversation. You want obedience. I’m not here to kneel for champagne liberals pretending to be oppressed.” That was the moment the room cracked. Tyrus didn’t just say it—he threw it like a grenade across The View’s table, shattering the polite theater of daytime television into live, unscripted chaos. The air went dead. Joy Behar scoffed. Ana Navarro bristled. Whoopi Goldberg’s smile vanished. And within seconds, the debate collapsed into a televised brawl.

Kat Timpf didn’t just leave—she vanished, quietly stepping out of the spotlight with the same sharp precision she once used to cut through political nonsense on-air. This wasn’t retirement.
